Avalanches are unlikely until the sun and warming temperatures weaken the snow surface. At the upper elevations pockets of surface slab up to two feet in depth could be triggered by skiers and riders in isolated terrain features. Wet loose slides and cornice failures are possible after snow surfaces become soft. Big cornice drops could trigger very large deep slab avalanches. Monitor conditions and avoid steep terrain and cornices during the warmest potion of the day.
