General Avalanche Advisory
Southwesterly ridgetop winds increased to 20 to 30 miles per hour overnight and likely transported available snow onto leeward slopes at the higher elevations. Up there, skiers and riders venturing into very steep, wind loaded terrain might be able to trigger an isolated pocket of shallow soft slab. Be wary of recent deposits of windblown snow, especially if upside down conditions are found. Remember, even small slides can lead to serious injuries if backcountry travelers are swept into terrain with minimal coverage.
